When we take our guests on a (gastronomic) tour around the island, our main focus is to show them the amazing local cuisine, to treat them to real, feels-like-home, Mediterranean, Dalmatian and Brač food!
This is why we cooperate with a selected few of island’s best restaurants, where food is prepared as if prepared for family, where local produce is used (and sometimes even grown!), where we know you will ask for seconds 😉
So, let us introduce you to some of our favorite venues. First us – Konoba Rojen.
At Konoba (tavern) Rojen, located at the bay of Luke, between the villages of Pučišća & Povlja on the northern coast of the island of Brač, they serve what has always been cooked at a typical Brač home. On the slope above the bay, are several small houses in a row, and in front of them, under a thick vine canopy, stretches the long terrace of the tavern.
Here, one can enjoy simple yet excellent meals such as tuna pâté, vegetable soup and what seems like a plain tomato salad, seasoned with sea salt and a bit of their olive oil, but is in fact a marvel. Grilled lamb (especially for larger groups) and fish are the mainstays of their simple yet incredibly delicious menu.
